The big and the little gestures of care mattered; and without them, she feels she would not be where she is today. Eager to share and give back to a community of women with care and compassion is Dr. Chaney’s motivation for joining the Women’s Empowerment Series. A native of Illinois (but a fully converted Packers fan), Dr. Chaney has two adult children, Trent and Sarah, who are now married and starting families of their own. Tiffany Gurath is a small-town girl with big heart and adventurous dreams. She wanted to see the world and experience people beyond her community walls. In 1986, at just eighteen years old and a few months out of high school, Tiffany moved from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the Chicago-land area. She chose a far less traveled path at the time and enrolled in a Travel Academy rather than a traditional college. She graduated from the Roberta Fisher School of Travel and Tourism in January of 1989. After graduation, she started her career and worked passionately in the travel industry until having my two beautiful children. Always perusing new adventures, she enrolled in the Chicago School of Massage Therapy earning another specialized degree in 2002. Over the years she has also excelled in the automotive industry, ultimately following her heart back to travel. Tiffany now owns and operates her own small travel business helping others realize their own travel dreams. In 2006 she relocated back to the Fond du Lac area. Tiffany is married to her wonderful husband Joel and has two children Emily and Joey. She has always been active in serving whatever community in which she lives. Tiffany truly believes that we must give simply because we can. Working with PADS, Public Actions to Deliver Shelter in 1992 began her focused devotion to community volunteerism. Blessed to serve with such organizations as Meals on Wheels, The Fondy Food Panty, Life Enforcement, Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts and The Women’s Fund have led Tiffany to the Women’s Empowerment Series Advisory Board. Tiffany believes so much of our lives are focused on only ourselves and our own families, forgetting that more often than not, it takes a core group to really move the needle. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” She looks forward to the serving our community further on the WES advisory board!
