The Women’s Empowerment Series serves women and their children from all walks of life struggling with emotional distress.

Rooted in a 12-week series of classes, WES strives to give women a foundation for future success in their homes and in the community.

Designed to provide 20 women with individualized self-improvement to overcome trauma and graduate feeling empowered to utilize the skills and tools to better their families’ lives and become strong, successful members of our community.

After graduation from the 12-week program, the WES provides life long support, mentorship and resources to women on their journeys in life. 

Providing guidance to women in the Fond du Lac area.

The Women’s Empowerment Series hosts a 12-week series on an annual basis and is intended to provide guidance to women in the Fond du Lac area.

These are women who demonstrate a desire to better themselves and would benefit from the positive interactions and learning opportunities the series provides.

The series is designed to empower these women to make positive changes in their lives.

Weekly classes.

The series of classes touches on various topics that are taught and discussed by professional volunteers in the community. Topics covered include:

  • Mental Health & Self Care
  • Domestic Violence, Healthy Relationships,
  • Budgeting & Couponing
  • Addiction

Mentorship.

“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”

A core element of the series pairs each participant with a mentor to further guide and support through the learning & growth.

Support for children.

In conjunction with the women’s courses, their children participate in a series of classes. The children’s classes are tailored to their age and involve topics such as:

  • Family Connections
